Greta Aagre and Erik Honoré have previously released records under the moniker Elsewhere. On "Year of the Bullet" they present a more mature expression. Musically, it is an amalgam of "fourth world”, jazz and the singer/songwriter tradition. With low key progression and beautiful sound painting they create a world that defies easy categorization. Greta Aagre sings with both pathos and great empathy and is beautifully accompanied by Arve Henriksen’s insisting trumpet. Samples and synthesizers give the music an electronic dimension, while Jørgen Rief’s guitars produce warmth. Greta Aagre and Erik Honoré occupy their own niche in Norwegian music.
